Tomasz Poznar has 15 years of experience in automotive engineering and advanced technology development. He assumed the role of Vice President of Transportation in April 2013. He is responsible for business development and wide range of company offerings, including OE product portfolio and post-sale services. Tomasz has been working at EnerDel since 2010 in a variety of roles in Service, Application Engineering, Sales and Training for both Transportation and Stationary Systems. He played an instrumental role in establishing European market for EnerDel, including commercial and technical development of battery systems for all electric Volvo C30 and Think City vehicles. Tomasz Poznar’s experience and expertise is recognized outside EnerDel as well. He is a creator and main lecturer of Battery School, highly rated lithium ion technical training program available for industry professionals. The program has already had six (6) editions at EnerDel Technical Center in the US and one (1) edition in Japan at our Partner’s location. Prior to his role at EnerDel, Tomasz had management and engineering positions at Remy International and Volvo Bus. He successfully launched several rotating electric projects for key Remy customers from both LD automotive and HD transportation sectors. At Volvo, he had been responsible for city and intercity bus development with accountability for interior design. Dr Poznar earned his M.E. in Mechanical Engineering in 2003 and Ph.D. in Technical Sciences in 2010 from the Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland).
