Kai-Christian Möller received his PhD in electrochemistry at the University of Münster, Germany in 1998. After a research stay at the Graz University of Technology, Austria, he changed in 2006 to the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicate Research ISC, Germany, where he established the “Center for Applied Electrochemistry” as team manager. In 2012 he became deputy speaker of the Fraunhofer Battery Alliance and head of the Project Group “Electrochemical Energy Storage” of the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT which is now merged with the group of the Fraunhofer ISC. Since 2015 Kai-Christian Möller is responsible for cross-institutional battery projects at the Fraunhofer Headquarter in Munich, Germany.
